Both man and beast still going strong!

We have moved back into the same villa as last winter so no new pics of home, although the landlady has made a few improvements and we should be a bit warmer this year. Temperatures at the moment are in the very comfortable 30s and we are swimming every day.  We have picked up where we left off last June and met a lot of people around the village who recognised us. Andy has rejoined the Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir  and I have joined a Pilates class. I spent a few hours swotting up the spanish vocabulary that I thought I would need only to find the whole session was done in valenciano! However, I got through it and I think I actually learned more in that class than in the Spanish lessons last year!

We have joined an art group too. The tutor, Julia is from Rustington and is friends with our friends Sue and John. We also found that I taught her first partner at Durrington First School, many years ago. Small world!

This year we have decided not to get too caught up in the ‘long lunch’ culture and try and stay out of the local bodegas. Our waistlines suffered last year! Had a nice three course lunch out today though!
