Andy is in there somewhere! The Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir joined up with three other choirs to perform a lovely concert in Teulada.
We had a great evening last night at the Parador Hotel in Javea. Randy Greer quintet played some really good music, including Route 66. They must have known Jan and Christie were in the audience!
Great to have Jan and Christie with us for a week. Here we are relaxing and exploring rural Spain.

A really fascinating and exciting place!
We have just had three fantastic days in Granada. What a fabulous place! We had brilliant views of the snow capped Sierra Nevada from our hotel balcony. The Alhambra was amazing. We have taken loads of photos and no doubt Andy will put some more up on the blog soon. The palaces, the architecture, the views of Andalucia and the gardens were just brilliant. We really recommend this city!
In the evenings we watched a flamenco show, strolled around the Albaicin area, had a Moroccan supper and did a lot of people watching!
It was a long drive down to Granada and of course we had to race back on Sunday in order to watch the England v Wales game at our local Ole Bar. England won, so all in all it was a perfect weekend break.
This was a bit of a treat! Flamingos in Calpe just five miles away from us on the coast.
Andy is not in the mountains. He is looking at a painting by Degrain.
Steven arrived on Thursday. We had a fabulous day in Valencia. This time visiting the art gallery and the Citi des Artes y Ciences. We found a great little Italian place for dinner. Guiseppe, his wife and his waiters were all very friendly. Lots of hugs and hand shaking!Steven took some brilliant photos. Today we have mooched around the local markets. We had to go to the Verd y Vent again and now it is raining! We haven’t seen rain for weeks so I suppose he had to bring it with him! Tomorrow we will do a quick trip to the coast before taking him back to the airport. Thanks for popping over Steven. We will miss you.
